The free generator uploads nothing
When you fill the free WH-347 generator, worker names, pay, hours, and deductions are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to us. When you download a form while signed in, we record only that a download happened (a count against your monthly limit), never its contents. Close the tab and the data is gone.
What we collect
Account: your email address, sign-in timestamps, and your plan. Sign-in links are single-use tokens; we never see or store a password. Payments: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, never card numbers. Wage lookups: requests for public wage determination data pass through our server to SAM.gov with caching; they contain the determination requested, not your payroll.
What paid accounts store, and how
Paid plans exist to save your projects, crew rosters, and weekly payroll records, so those are stored when you choose to save them. Crew and payroll data is encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM) on top of the database's own encryption at rest, and is readable only through your account. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or mine it. Staff access is limited to what support requires and only with your request.
Retention and deletion
Saved records exist to satisfy the three-year retention habit certified payroll requires, so we keep them until you delete them. Deleting a project deletes its archived payrolls immediately and permanently. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email hello@weeklycertified.com from your account address; we complete it within 7 days and confirm.
If your plan lapses
Your saved data stays readable through your account. You just cannot save new records until the plan is active again. Nonpayment never deletes your records.
Cookies
One cookie: your session, HttpOnly and secure, so you stay signed in. No analytics trackers, no ad pixels.
We send sign-in links, billing notices, and answers when you write to us. No marketing lists unless you explicitly ask for launch updates, and every such email has a working unsubscribe.
Changes and contact
Material changes get a new effective date here and an email to active accounts. Questions or requests: hello@weeklycertified.com.
