Who we are
WeeklyCertified is operated by Forge Dev Studio LLC, a Georgia company. When this policy says "we," that is who it means.
The free generator uploads nothing
When you fill the free WH-347 generator, worker names, pay, hours, and deductions are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to us. When you download a form while signed in, we record only that a download happened (a count against your monthly limit), never its contents, unless you choose to save that payroll to a paid project. Close the tab without saving and the data is gone.
The complete list of what ever leaves your device: your email address (to sign in), one download-count tick when you generate while signed in, anonymous daily page counters with no identifiers, the wage-determination number you look up (sent to SAM.gov via our cache; it contains none of your payroll), your payment details (entered on Stripe's pages, never ours), and, only if you press Save on a paid plan, that payroll encrypted. Nothing else. A CSV you import and every draft the page remembers stay in your browser's own storage. Verify it yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab while you fill and generate a form signed out; you will see the form template and fonts download to you and nothing about your crew go out.
What we collect
Account: your email address, sign-in timestamps, and your plan. Sign-in links are single-use tokens; we never see or store a password. Payments: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, never card numbers. Wage lookups: requests for public wage determination data pass through our server to SAM.gov with caching; they contain the determination requested, not your payroll.
What paid accounts store, and how
Paid plans exist to save your projects, crew rosters, and weekly payroll records, so those are stored when you choose to save them. Crew and payroll data is encrypted at the application layer (AES-256-GCM) on top of the database's own encryption at rest, and is readable only through your account. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or mine it. Staff access is limited to what support requires and only with your request.
Worker information in saved payrolls belongs to your workers and is stored on your behalf as their employer. If a worker asks us about their data, we point them to you; we act on your instructions and on deletion requests from your account.
Retention and deletion
Saved records support the three-year retention certified payroll requires, so we keep them until you delete them. Deleting a project deletes its archived payrolls immediately and permanently. To delete your whole account and everything in it, follow the steps at weeklycertified.com/delete-account; we complete it within 7 days and confirm.
If your plan lapses
Your saved data stays readable through your account. You just cannot save new records until the plan is active again. Nonpayment never deletes your records.
Cookies
One cookie: your session, HttpOnly and secure, so you stay signed in. No analytics trackers, no ad pixels.
We send sign-in links and codes, billing notices, a notice two days before a free trial ends, one reminder if you start a checkout and leave it unfinished, Friday filing reminders only if you turn them on, and answers when you write to us. Every email other than sign-in codes has a one-click unsubscribe, and sign-in codes always arrive when you ask for one. We do not sell or share your address, and there are no marketing lists unless you explicitly ask for updates.
